4 Nigerian Artists To Watch Out For In 2019

Nigerian music is popping in big ways and the country is loaded with a lot of tremendous artists in almost every genre.

In this article, we'll be putting a spotlight on 4 artists we believe will make an impact on the music scene this year.

Blaqbonez

Blaqbonez has been in the music game for a long while now but he really started popping in 2018 when he dropped his Bad Boy Blaq project in 2018.

The project was met with a lot of critical acclaim and Baqbonez has been viewed as one of the rappers making Hip-hop relevant again.

This year, he teamed up with M.I, Loose Kaynon and A-Q for the Martell hip-hop cypher which became a trending topic within few hours of its release.

He then released Bad Boy Blaq: Re-Up, a sequel to the project he released in 2018. The new project featured the likes of YCEE, Boj, CKay, Vector, Moelogo and Pretty Boy D-O.

Blaq has already started 2019 with a bang and he seems poised to keep the same energy throughout 2019.

Santi

The Nigerian Alte artist formerly known as Ozzy B, now popularly known as Santi is definitely one of the artists to watch out for in 2018.

He's, on the verge of becoming a worldwide figure in regards to dancehall music. But then again, Santi's music is more than just dancehall, it's Afrofusion as well as Santi can easily play across various genres of music.

He will be dropping an album this year and judging by the singles he has dropped ahead of the album, we might be in for a treat.

GoodGirl LA

GoodGirl LA is relatively new on the music but she's already gaining a cult following with her music. She has released 3 singles Fantasy,Faraway and Bless Me and she has made it known that she will be releasing more songs this year.

She was also featured on Peruzzi'sHeart Work EP on a song calledBleed.

Lady Donli

Lady Donli is a breath of fresh air. Her contemporary soul music is definitely one of the best things coming out of this country at the moment.

She has 2 projects out Letters To Her and Wallflower and she also has a couple of great singles likeKashe Ni, Poison, Mr Creeper, Games, Ice Cream and Classic.

Her debut album will be coming out this year and it's definitely one of the projects to watch out for this year.

WhatsApp to stop working on some mobile phones in 2020

WhatsApp has revealed that the messaging app will stop working on some smartphones in 2020. This is what you need to do. It’s currently available on select versions of the devices but will cease to be from December 31.
