Henry remembers being stunned by Messi's wonder strike

The French forward remembers his spell with Barcelona. He was utterly amazed by Messi's super-strike vs Malaga in 2008. He believes it was the best goal by the Argentine.

“The best goal I’ve seen him score was against Malaga at home because that defied logic what he did,” Henry said.

“Diagonal ball, he controls it on his chest, runs full speed. The first player goes, the second player is just behind. He takes another step, that player can clear the ball."

“If he’s got the ball on his left foot here, how do you go back with that same leg and touch the ball in the air, in between the two to make sure that guy doesn’t touch it - and then almost fail but smash it into the top corner. That's not normal."

Daily Nigerian reports that the kidnappers who abducted 16-year-old twin sisters in Zamfara have threatened to kill one of the girls if payment of their ransom is not made on time. Hassana and Hussaina, whose wedding was slated for December, were abducted at their elder sister's residence in Dauran village in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. They had visited their sister, Summaya, 20, in preparation for their wedding. Their father, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, said the kidnappers had initially demanded N150 million. A family member, Ibrahim Abubakar, who spoke with the kidnappers and the twins on phone said the kidnappers had reduced the ransom to N15million. “We are only able to get N6m selling our properties and receiving contributions from family members, politicians, traders and ordinary people,” Mr Abdubakar told Daily Nigerian on Thursday night. The JAMB Registrar of also made also stated that 15,145 results were withheld for further clarification. This was announced in the meeting currently holding in Abuja.
