Warner Bros Is Making Plans For An Aquaman Movie Sequel Already

Amber Heard, who plays the gorgeous and dangerous Mera in Aquaman, recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss the new DC film. The box office and DC have had a complicated relationship as of late. The DCEU did make amazing money off Suicide Squad, Batman V Superman, and Wonder Woman, but Man of Steel and Justice League didn't do as well. Of course, the critics slammed all of those films, besides Wonder Woman. Aquaman might change the game for DC though. It's currently predicted to kill the box office, and come out on top over the new Mary Poppins and Bumblebee. An excerpt from THR's article reads: "According to strong early tracking, the film is expected to earn an impressive $65 million in its domestic debut and top Mary Poppins Returns and Transformers spinoff Bumblebee. That number gave Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich enoug...

Serena Williams Set for Australian Open Return

Serena Williams will return to the Australian Open in 2019 as she goes in search of a record-equalling 24th grand slam title. The former world number one has not featured on the WTA Tour since the US Open – when she was beaten in the final by Naomi Osaka. Williams' straight-sets defeat at Flushing Meadows was overshadowed by a row with umpire Carlos Ramos, who she labelled a "liar" and a "thief" after being penalised with a game penalty following code violations for on-court coaching, racket abuse and verbal abuse. The Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi is scheduled to be Williams' next tournament at the end of the month, providing her with a platform to be ready for the first grand slam of 2019 when she could match Margaret Court's record of 24 titles. Williams has not featured in Melbourne since winning her 23rd major title in 2017 while pregnant with her daughter Alexis Olympia, who was born the following September. Her return was...

Henry remembers being stunned by Messi's wonder strike

The French forward remembers his spell with Barcelona. He was utterly amazed by Messi's super-strike vs Malaga in 2008. He believes it was the best goal by the Argentine. “The best goal I’ve seen him score was against Malaga at home because that defied logic what he did,” Henry said. “Diagonal ball, he controls it on his chest, runs full speed. The first player goes, the second player is just behind. He takes another step, that player can clear the ball." “If he’s got the ball on his left foot here, how do you go back with that same leg and touch the ball in the air, in between the two to make sure that guy doesn’t touch it - and then almost fail but smash it into the top corner. That's not normal."
