Breaking: JAMB has released 1,792,719 Results, while withholding 34,120 Results over Exam Malpractice. The JAMB Registrar of also made also stated that 15,145 results were withheld for further clarification. This was announced in the meeting currently holding in Abuja. JAMB 2021 Result To Be Announced 10:00am On Saturday

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially disclosed that the results of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be announced by 10:00 am on Saturday.The registrar of the board, Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Abuja on Friday. He revealed that the board is currently in a meeting so that the details will be available by tomorrow. We are releasing our results tomorrow,” he said. Meanwhile, the Registrar has paraded an employee of the Board, who allegedly collected N25,000 from a 2018 admission seeker. He said the suspect was reported to the JAMB management after he couldn’t meet the demand. The registrar reiterated the Board’s determination to deal decisively with anyone, including its staff, found involved in any form of infraction. “We are not hiding anything; we are ready to deal with anybody caught and they must face the wrath of the law,” he said.

JAMB explains delay in release of 2021 UTME results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday night explained why candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) are yet to see their results. According to JAMB, the delay was to ensure that no candidate involved in any form of examination malpractice would go unpunished. JAMB gave the explanation in tweets posted on its Twitter account. It read: “JAMB wishes to refute claims being credited to it on the release of the 2021 UTME. Candidates are advised that the results of the 2019 UTME would be released shortly. “Results of the 2021 UTME are being delayed as the Board seeks to ensure that NO candidate involved in any form of examination malpractice is allowed to go unpunished. “Candidates are, by this, advised to guard their profile code and registration details jealously as unscrupulous individuals are on the prowl to dupe unsuspecting candidates. “The Board counsels all candidates to disregard messages and calls from any source c

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing  Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2021 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the  News Agency of Nigeria  on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. NAN  reports that over 1.8 million candidates are expected to sit for the Board’s UTME that commenced nationwide on April 11. Benjamin said the process of the examination has so far been successful, adding that the Board was addressing some of the challenges that came up during the exercise.

2021 UTME: JAMB arrests over 50 professional exam writers

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Monday said it has uncovered and arrested over 50 ‘Professional Examination Writers’ who specialized in writing examination for candidates for a fee. The board’s weekly official bulletin, tagged: ‘JAMBULLETIN’, signed by JAMB’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin disclosed this in Lagos State. The  News Agency of Nigeria  reports that over 1.8 million candidates are expected to sit for the board’s ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination that commenced nationwide on Thursday, April 11. The board said it uncovered a group described as ‘Professional Examination Writers’ who specialises in writing examination for candidates for a fee. According to the bulletin, as a result of the various intelligence gathering mechanism, the board was able to uncover and arrest over 50 of such fraudulent persons in centres spread across the country. It noted that some of the suspects were Master’s Degree holders and undergraduates

As announced by JAMB, the printing of the 2021 UTME slip has commenced today April 4th, 2021. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has explained that admissions would only be given to qualified candidates who apply for courses into the various institutions in the country. JA MB has  moved the printing of the 2021  UTME exam  slip to April 4th, 2021. We will use this thread to monitor and confirm when the printing has commenced.
