Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2021 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17.
